Idaho plane crashed flying over a Republican party dropping rolls of toilet paper -

Idaho authorities say the pilot of an airplane flying over a Republican party gathering had been dropping rolls of toilet paper before it crashed.

The Federal Aviation Administration says early indications are that the experimental airplane stalled or reached a speed and angle at which it lost its lift.

The crash Saturday afternoon killed the pilot, 60-year-old Randy Humble, of Moscow, Idaho.

Witnesses say the airplane's engine revved and the pilot appeared to be trying to pull up just before it crashed near Viola, Idaho.

Humble and another pilot had been performing aerial tricks for the GOP fundraising event. Humble was also dropping rolls of toilet paper, but it's not clear why.

NBC’s ‘Today’ Skips 9/11 Moment Of Silence For Kardashian Interview -

NBC’s ‘Today’ Skips 9/11 Moment Of Silence For Kardashian Interview -

At 8:46 AM, in New York City and at the White House in Washington DC, there was a moment of silence to remember when the first plane hit the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. In New York, the NYPD, FDNY, Port Authority Police and the families of the victims were present, while in Washington the President and the First Lady led the moment.

The cable networks all carried it, with ABC’s “Good Morning America” and “CBS This Morning” carrying it as well. The only national general news program to not carry the moment of silence was NBC’s ‘Today,” which, in an odd bit of counter-programming, opted to air an interview with “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kris Jenner, who talked about the new season of the reality show, and her breast implants.

After the moment of silence ended, ABC went right to an interview with actor Richad Gere, while CBS went straight into a commercial break.

Pat Robertson, Televangelist, Encourages Man To Become Muslim So He Can Beat His Wife -

Pat Robertson, Televangelist, Encourages Man To Become Muslim So He Can Beat His Wife -

Once again, Pat Robertson has said something ridiculously offensive and cruel.

Past targets have included gays, feminists and pagans, atheists, people with Alzheimer's, adoptive parents, Haitians and people who don't pray enough. This time, the televangelist focused his ire on wives who fail to properly obey their husbands.

On Monday's broadcast of Robertson's television show "The 700 Club," he answered a question from a viewer named Michael about how to repair his marriage to a woman who "has no respect for me as the head of the house."

Robertson's response: "Well, you could become a Muslim and you could beat her."

Bizarrely, this comment elicited laughter from Robertson's co-host, Terry Meeuwsen.

Unfortunately, Robertson didn't stop there.

"I don’t think we condone wife-beating these days but something has got to be done to make her."

He also called the woman a "rebellious child" who doesn't want to "submit to any authority." However, since the Scripture doesn't allow for divorce, Robertson urged the husband to "move to Saudi Arabia," where, ostensibly, beating the woman would be permissible.
